A new issue of the wonderful Patricide journal, entitled The Surrealist Cookbook, is currently on the chopping board. Here’s an invitation to the feast:
You are invited to submit a morsel for issue 5 of the journal Patricide. Issue 5 will be subtitled The Surrealist Cookbook and will be a surrealist interpretation of the infamous Anarchist Cookbook.
This new edition of the journal will have an edible theme but the notion of a surrealist cookbook is open to interpretation. This could include recipes; essays or articles on food; stories, poetry or prose with food as a theme. The surrealist cookbook may also be interpreted in a broader sense e.g. recipes for revolution, food for thought, an appetite for destruction, recipes for more intense dreams…
Images in any media in response to this theme are also invited.
